I love this place. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is amazing. Prices are competitive to fast food so it's definitely better. If needed, I can eat for under 10.00. Good portions and kid friendly. They also have an array of awesome cakes and pies. Breakfast, lunch or dinner menu items.
Good food, great service. All the waitresses were amazing the price was not bad at all, compared to Springfield. If you are in the area, stop by, good fried chicken
I wouldn't recommend the unsweetened tea ,but the food and the soda I traded the tea in for were excellent, The catfish fillet s were huge ,okra was perfect as was the baked potato and the fixings. Awesome we will be back
This is a hidden surprise to travelers like me. Highly recommend this place. The parking lot was full always a good sign. I ordered pork chops mashed potatoes and vegetables of the day, which were green beans . Mashed potatoes were buttery goodness in a scoop. It is topped with dark brown gravy . Green beans had just the right amount of seasoning. The pork chops were the star of the plate tender and juicy . Other orders were chicken fried chicken mashed potatoes and green beans, and both plates came with a fluffy yeast roll. Chikdren had blueberry waffle toast hand breaded chicken tenders and fries. Even though swamped, the waitress was friendly. Lunch rush is no joke at The Grove, but everyone is friendly and enjoying their meals. If you are in Mountain Grove, Missouri don't miss eating here . It's located right by Walmart ! You can shop and grab a good meal for a good price .
I had ribeye here on Sunday when I was in town visiting family. It was really good! Service was fast and friendly. The place is obviously popular and was very busy. No trouble finding parking, being seated or served though. Clean restroom. I would go again if I am back in the area and looking for a place to eat.
Excellent service! Very friendly, patient, kind, and our glasses were always full. The food was fresh. There is a wide variety on the menu. Great place to take picky eaters bc they have plenty to choose from. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Relaxing enough to have a conversation and quiet enough to not have to yell. Excellent place!

It tasted just like something Grandma would make — hearty, homemade, and full of love. Every bite was comforting and delicious, and you can tell it’s all made fresh with care. The service was equally impressive — quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The owners clearly take pride in making everyone feel like family. We live an hour away, but we will *definitely* be making the drive back. It’s that good.
